Asha Loring
Executive Director
Having grown up in a community gardening environment, Ms. Loring also brings 10 years of nonprofit experience to Health in the Hood. Her passion for creating healthy communities drives her work to provide fresh foods and health education in the communities that need it most. Ms. Loring’s program direction background includes 5 years of directing the Public Allies AmeriCorps program in Miami, where she led youth through community service apprenticeships and worked to develop their leadership abilities.
